Digital First Media Appoints Arturo Duran Chief Innovation Officer
Company Re-Focuses Digital Operations on Innovation and Product Creation
Duran, who will be headquartered in Silicon Valley, to Lead Company’s Digital Strategy plus Business and Audience Development
NEW YORK, NY – (Friday, March 2, 2012) – Digital First Media today announced the appointment of Arturo Duran as Chief Innovation Officer responsible for the company’s business and audience development and digital strategy. The appointment is effective immediately.
Mr. Duran, who will report to Chief Executive Officer John Paton, had been the Chief Digital Officer of Digital First Media working out of the New York office. Mr. Duran will relocate to San Jose, CA.

Arturo is a creative leader and thinker in the digital space. His location in Silicon Valley will be extremely helpful to our Company”.
“Too many companies today are focused on where they are and not where they need to be. As Chief Innovation Officer, it will be my job to oversee a structure that strategizes the rapid creation of new products to meet our customers’ needs,” Mr. Duran said.
In his role, Mr. Duran will work closely with Bob Mason, Chief Technology Officer; Alison Kane, Senior Vice President, Digital Products and Business Development, and Scott Cunningham, Vice President, Digital Technology and Platforms.
