Journal Register Company Names Erich Linker Vice President of National Sales

Yardley, PA – Journal Register Company, a leading multi media company in local news and information, announced today the appointment of Erich Linker as its Vice President of National Sales.
Mr. Linker, who has more than 30 years experience in media sales, will lead Journal Register’s national sales organization and will oversee national advertising sales for all platforms.

Mr. Linker most recently served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships and Strategic Initiatives for impreMedia, LLC, the nation’s leading Hispanic news and information company. He joined impreMedia in 2004 and previously served as that company’s Senior Vice President of National Advertising. Mr. Linker worked as Senior Vice President, Sales Director for Newspapers First and also served in key positions for the New York Times including Senior Vice President Sales Director for Newspaper products/NYT Magazine, Senior Vice President Group Sales Director for the New York Times Magazine Group and Vice President Marketing NYT Information Services Group. He was Executive Vice President of Business Development for ORB, Inc. an internet advertising agency. In addition, Mr. Linker was Executive Vice President and co-founder for Press Point, an international distributed newspaper company.

Mr. Linker earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Lebanon Valley College and an MBA from Hofstra University. He resides in Long Island, N.Y. with his wife Pam.
