Journal Register Company to Webcast Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2006 Earnings Conference Call

Yardley, PA – Journal Register Company (NYSE: JRC) today announced that the Company's fourth quarter and full year 2006 earnings release conference call is scheduled for February 6, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time.

The conference call will be accessible to the general public and the media via a live Internet Webcast and a limited number of listen-only, dial-in conference lines.

The Company's earnings announcement will be released via news wire services before the market opens on February 6, 2007.
