Journal Register Company Announces Promotion of Edward J. Yocum to Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

YARDLEY, PA– Journal Register Company (NYSE:JRC) announced today that Edward J. Yocum has been promoted to Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Mr. Yocum joined the Company in April 2006 as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.

Mr. Yocum has over 17 years of experience counseling corporations. He earned a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Villanova University School of Law in 1990 and a Bachelor of Business Administration, summa cum laude, in 1987 from Temple University.
