Journal Register Company Names Judy Brenna, Director of Investor Relations

YARDLEY, PA -- Journal Register Company (NYSE: JRC) announced today that Judy Brenna has re-joined Journal Register Company as its Director of Investor Relations. In this role, Ms. Brenna will be responsible for the Company’s corporate communications activities, including media and investor relations.

Ms. Brenna previously served in this capacity at Journal Register Company from 2001 to 2002. Prior to her tenure at JRC, she was Director of Corporate Communications at Nassau Broadcasting Partners, L.P. in Princeton, New Jersey, which owns over 50 radio stations across the United States; served as Assistant Vice President, Financial Communications with Noonan Russo Communications, Inc. in New York City, where she managed investor relations for public pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies; and was Director of Corporate Communications at Integra LifeSciences Corporation in Plainsboro, New Jersey. Ms. Brenna began her diversified career as a reporter for The Trentonian, a Journal Register Company newspaper.
